A Surprise Ultra-Sound Visit
As an expectant parent, regular ultrasound visits are a special time to get a sneak peak of your baby. It makes it all feel so real. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, partners have not been able to attend ultrasounds. This means that Greg has not been able to see our daughter on the screen, to see her little wiggly arms and legs. It's been hard.
As an expectant parent, regular ultrasound visits are a special time to get a sneak peak of your baby. It makes it all feel so real. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, partners have not been able to attend ultrasounds. This means that Greg has not been able to see our daughter on the screen, to see her little wiggly arms and legs. It's been hard.

o, I decided to surprise him with an appointment at "A date with baby" - a service offering 3D photos and 4D videos of your growing baby. Since this service is located in a single office unit, they allow partners inside.
At this appointment, we were able to see our daughter squirm around, grab her little feet, tuck her hands near her face, stick out her tongue, and even practice breathing!
We also were able to see some (slightly creepy and blob-like)_ 3D images of her little face. It was so cool. We were able to get several photos to take home, along with a video of the entire appointment on the screen.
And lastly, a photo of Greg because he wanted his photo taken by this cactus.
